August Goody give-away

By spotogspindel | August 1, 2010

I am so happy and grateful, and have so much to celebrate!

1. I´ve reached over 25 ooo visitors from over 60 countries!

2. I´m teaching at Artfest!

3. I´ve opened an Etsy-shop. (There´s not much there yet, but it will fill up)

So this month I wanted to splash out a bit on the goody give-away. A real girly-girl. I made a small textile picture, 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches (exactly the size shown below actually). It´s mounted on a wooden block, about 3 cm/ 1 inch. It´s applique and freestyle machine-embroidery on hand-painted cotton. Made in the technique I´ll be teaching my Girly-girl-bag-workshop at Artfest. This is an original, no copies made.

I just found your blog from the Artfest site and I just wanted to say hello! I LOVE the bags you make. I make purses myself, out of ties mostly, but this has totally inspired me to try using my art in bags, too. Awesome.
