By the time I´ve posted this, the 13th and last Artfest has come and gone. Such a wonderful event with such wonderful people! I do feel confident that I will meet some of them again.
Already the first night we met all our old friends and some new ones too, and of course dorm 225 hosted the first evening of late-nite-arting!
My first workshop at Artfest this year was with the very talented Lana Guerra and her class WIG OUT!
Below? This is what´s called progress, or a learning-curve, if you´d like
After I got the hang of the extensions, it was time to think of the antlers. Luckily I got hold of some soft foam, and cut it into shape. (Thank you, Sunny!)
I won´t bore you with the details, so I´ll just show you the half-finished result. I am a bit anxious about getting the wig back home in the luggage, so I decided not to finish it, to keep it relatively small.
I will however try to finish it in not such a long time, and will of course share with you the finished result. I´m hoping it will rock!
Here are some of my class-mates who certainly did a rocking´ job!
The evening brought more art journalling with it. First at the bon-fire on the beach.
Then in the commons area. And finally in dorm 225
