Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

… and the answer is:

By spotogspindel | August 17, 2010

Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

— Scott Adams

Well, hopefully you can now see what my little painting is…

The back of a wooden rowing boat, paint chipping off, a copper propeller coated with verdigris, a rusty direction-blade, and seaweed entangled in the rotor-spine, dragged up on a naked rock-face.

Ok. It was a hard one. But hopefully you can see what it is now that I´ve told you. If you can´t, you´d better let me know, I don´t want to embarrass myself.

I´m on a roll with the audio-books again. I came across a big sale, and invested in lots of Norwegian authors. Today´s novel is of a police investigator hunting a pedophile.

To be honest with you, I had no idea what you were painting, but it works for me both as a dynamic abstract, and as a boat.

Heh and I like the burnt orange rust against the bluish paint. Great colours all round 🙂 Yes you had me fooled as you know
