Who am I?

janne-robberstad

Janne Robberstad has worked with art and crafts since 1993, mainly with pictures, but later also clothes and costumes. She is educated as an arts & crafts teacher, and has worked in the folk high schools for thirteen years.

She has had several decoration assignments for private companies, mainly in offshore and shipping. All in all there are around 500 of her pictures sailing the seven seas onboard over 30 different supply-ships. Her main techniques are photo-collage, painting, metal-work, application and machine-embroidery.

She also works with costumedesign, and has worked with Haugesund Theatre on several shows, including “Honk”, “Narnia” and “12th night”. She has also done large outdoor-performances like “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Chess”, “Les Miserables” and “Miss Saigon”.

Janne now works fulltime with her company Spøt & Spindel / Spindelmaker
