A cozy day off, home alone, enjoying the quiet charging my my inner battery, thinking, listening to the rain, planning all the fun stuff I´m gonna make when I have the time… what a great day! How was your Sunday?

Backstage at Stålehuset. The biggest concrete-building in Europe when it was built in 1919. Over 2000 people worked here in the herring-industry. A new day, a new pile of pants needing buttons. It´s button-marathon! I´ve been working all day too, and thought for sure I could cross something off my list and get started on some new stuff. I altered and finished a couple of dresses and almost finished a coat. And yet it doesn´t seem so […]

Any old Saturday… not.

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

A very busy day today! Six women and Maja, had a button-sewing-marathon. Most of them parents of the theatre-kids, helping me getting all the buttons in place. If I haven´t counted wrong, there is around 1320 buttons…. now what would I do without these wonderful ladies?! Maja sew all the buttons in a pair of […]
