Bergen ´round midnight

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

The second picture in the Bergen-by-night-series. This is by “Klosteret”, on the way west towards Nordnes. This photo was actually taken right around midnight. It was a lot darker, but my camera was brand new, and I had just learned how to use long exposure.

Bergen: smug by night

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

“Smug” is a norwegian word for a very narrow city-street. This is the first in a series of pictures I made around the theme Bergen by night. Bergen is the second largest city in Norway. But it´s probably got the largest personality 😉

Deco & silk

Tuesday, September 6th, 2011

The kimono dress is progressing. In between checking lists, designing, making patterns, cutting… … I try to sew a bit. I really do like the pattern in the kimono-silk. It´s so art deco-ish. Pretty chaotic with 40 kids queueing almost on top of each other after rehearsal. Some are new to theatre, while others are almost veterans despite their […]

measuring

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

Yep, that´s me, taking a hat-measurement. Over the weekend, I´ll have about 80 more people to measure. And then it´s time to pull out the sewing machine 🙂 Click on the picture, and it will take you to an article in Haugesunds avis.

Amanda-kick-start

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

Today was the first day of rehearsals on “Amanda”. All the actors were there, the production-team, the administration, the musicians, everyone. Well, almost everyone. Not the ensemble of about 80… So good to meet old friends, and new. After the first read-through, it was time to meet the press. Which is when I seized the […]
