Welcome to my site! I work as an eco-designer, an artist, as a teacher and as a researcher, and creating, or ARTING as I prefer, makes me happy! This is both a portfolio of things I´ve made and a blog meant to inspire.

Pattern-making day

Friday, May 20th, 2011

I´ve been spending the day making patterns for viking costumes. All in preparation for “Håkonarspelet på Seim”. Next weekend there is a workshop, with rehearsals and we start making the costumes as well. ________________________________________________________ I´m super-happy about iTunes open University. Now I know a lot more about the terracotta warriors in Xian, China, and George […]

The School loo

Thursday, May 19th, 2011

Well, what do you know! After years of working back-stage, I´m actually going to be on-stage again! My dear friend and colleague, Runa, is directing a contemporary youth-play in the culture-school with a group of teens. However there was one role left. A little pin-cushion […]

my colorful world

Friday, May 13th, 2011

I work with color. Color inspires me and feeds my creativity. Color is my single most important means of expression. So moving into a white studio was a bit change. I´ve managed to make little oasis of color in between all the white. Although it is definitely a work-in-progress, Photo Friday´s theme this week is […]

Thursday, May 12th, 2011

Well, as the title says, the portrait painting workshop at the teacher´s college finished today. It´s been such a fun project, and the students are really good! A lot of them claim not to have painted before, but they could have fooled me! So here is an introduction to the past two weeks work (not […]
