13 – drawing and knitting

By spotogspindel | December 13, 2011

First of all, let´s have some fun! I was smiling when I did this. Click on the picture below, and watch as magic happens!

Second, let´s have some inspiration! This is the Christmas tree ornament my dear friend Deirdra made for me 🙂 She´s so creative, and it´s so adorable. A tree within a tree!

Third, let´s have something practical! I finished another gift. It´s not nearly as glamorous as Deirdra´s tree-tree, but practical indeed! A knitted hat in dark grey alpaca wool.

Fourth, the advent activity calendar says:

Make Christmas ornament.

This is such a good idea. You should make a new one every year. Your tree will be the best trip down memory lane even just after a few years. If you want to make more than one, do! Give them to friends and family as gifts, and make their trees shine too 🙂

This site right here has a map over 101 handmade ornament tutorials, in case you need more ideas 😉

The Stickman was hysterical! Thanks for sharing it. 🙂 Love the ornament. Maybe when I get home I will try to get crafty again.

Haha Janne :0 You are crazy 🙂 I like 🙂
And the hat looks so warm! The model doesn’t look too bad either, though I was surprised she had a camera for a nose. Do you know if she comes with other noses as well. ? 😉

That ornament site would keep me out of mischief for a year 🙂 See you!
